- Sanctions of two Mega Food Parks at Ludhiana (M/s Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Ltd.) and Kapurthala District (M/s Sukhjit Starch & Chemical Ltd.)
- Established IIFPT Business cum Incubation Center in Bathinda.
