Transformation of Bathinda
Harsimrat Kaur Badal started her social initiatives with Nanhi Chhaan in 2008, even before entering politics. After being elected as an MP for three consecutive terms and becoming a Union Minister, her efforts to develop Bathinda and Punjab gained momentum and continue to this day.
Education, healthcare, and employment are the three fundamental pillars of societal development. Harsimrat Kaur Badal has spearheaded numerous initiatives in these domains, including AIIMS Bathinda, Central University of Punjab, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Multi Development Skill Center, Guru Gobind Singh Thermal Plant and Mata Sundri College.
She is working on enhancing infrastructure, beautifying lakes, improving sewerage, electrifying railways, and building airports in Bathinda. Additionally, she is dedicated to preserving Sikh and Punjabiyat culture and promoting societal development. She has been doing Sangat darshan visits to every village and ward along with the administrative officers in her constituency to resolve the problems of people instantly and provide grants for development. She has been organizing free bus yatra for Darbar Sahib & other religions on their demand.
